All garden beds are thoroughly weeded and enriched with fertilizer prior to installation. Each plant is carefully researched, and the soil is adjusted based on factors such as pH, moisture retention, and soil composition. Whether we are planting grasses that require additional drainage or species that thrive in clay or loamy soil, the garden beds are tailored to meet these specific needs. We prioritize quality and take the necessary time to ensure the job is done correctly from the outset, providing your plants with the optimal conditions for a successful start.

No Dyed Mulch

When installing mulch beds, we will not use any dyed mulch. This mulch generally does not compost as well as other mulches, an therefore, does not offer any nutrients or beneficial breakdown over time.

Dyed mulch also leaches into the soil and plants do not do as well when this mulch is used. We do everything we can to promote immediate and longterm plant growth to ensure longterm survival and thriving.

When possible, we prefer to use pine mulch. Most plants installed prefer acidic soil. As pine mulch composts, this provides a more acidic environment to the plants.
